Cookie policy

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. It lets the site remember things between pages and visits — that you chose the dark theme, for example, or that you have already answered the cookie banner. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, do comparable jobs, and this policy covers them too.

2. How we use them

We keep cookies to a minimum. We use them to make the site work, to remember your display preferences, and — only if you agree — to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you across other websites.

3. The categories we use

Strictly necessary. Needed for the site to function and to record the choice you made in the cookie banner. These are always on, because without them the site cannot work or cannot remember that you declined the others.

Preferences. Remember display choices you have made, such as light or dark theme and your language. Without them the site still works, but forgets your choice on the next visit.

Analytics. Tell us which pages are read, how people arrive and where they leave. Used in aggregate to improve the site. Off until you accept them.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on yumin.ae.

4. The cookies we set

To be confirmed before publishing. The table below must be checked against the cookies the live site actually sets, and completed with the exact names, providers and durations. Do not publish this page with placeholder rows.

5. Third-party cookies

Where we use an analytics provider, that provider sets its own cookies under its own policy, and only after you accept the analytics category. Pages that embed something from another service — a map or a video, for example — may set cookies from that service when you load them. We will name every third-party provider in the table above before this page is published.

6. Your choices

The banner. When you first visit, you choose which categories to allow. Declining leaves only the strictly necessary cookies in place, and the site works normally.

Changing your mind. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Your new choice applies immediately.

Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking all cookies will stop the site remembering your theme and your banner choice, so you will be asked again on every visit.

7. Cookies inside our products

This policy covers the public website at yumin.ae. Cookies set inside a Yumin product you log into are used to keep you signed in and to hold your session securely, and are covered by the agreement with the customer whose account it is.

8. Changes

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
